In the hope to bring to the public due awareness of their medical health and the avenue available for them to seek medical treatment, The Rotary Club of Kelana Jaya and The Rotary Club of Port Klang have jointly organised an annual medical outreach programme at SJKC Pandamaran A. In this spirit, Da Ma Cai participated as partner in service in this meaningful programme.
Da Ma Cai contributed RM5,000 worth of medication to supplement the children and adults with their medical needs. Those who seek consultation during the programme are underprivileged residents from the low cost housing area residing at Pandamaran and Port Klang.
The medical outreach programme covered general medical consultation with the dispense of medicine where required, deworming for children, blood pressure and glucose check, eye screening and free eye glasses for needy children, dental checks, pap smear and traditional Chinese medical consultation. The programme received overwhelmed response with over 300 adults and children attended the free medical consultation.
“We are glad to have Da Ma Cai as our partner in service for this programme and it definitely has benefited the residents in this area,” said Lim Boon Chui, President of The Rotary Club Port Klang.
