Staff volunteers from Da Ma Cai visited Malaysia Lotus Charity Care Centre Association (MLCCCA) through its Staff-In-The-Community programme and donated RM4,500 vouchers for the purchase of daily use groceries and children’s learning materials.
To kick-off the Programme for the day, the team went to shop for electrical appliances and daily necessities before visiting MLCCCA. The Centre currently looks after 25 senior citizens of over 50 years old and 26 children aged between 1 and 17 years old.
Brother Michael, the caretaker of MLCCCA told that the Centre was burned down in February last year and they lost all essential items. They are able to continue providing to the residents of the Centre with the help from many well-wishers.
Currently, the Centre is relying solely on public funding to meet their expenses. For enquiries and donation, please contact Brother Michael at 016 – 627 7239.
